“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” Job 22:28
The words of our mouth are powerful. Our words literally have creative power. The quality of our life is determined by the words that we speak.
Did you know that God is powerless to intervene on our behalf until we speak words that agree with His Word? Depending on the words that we speak, we either give the devil or God an entrance into our life. In Matthew 12:37 Jesus explains just how powerful our words really are when He said, “For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Your words give God permission to save your soul or the devil permission to damn you for eternity.
In Mark 11:23 Jesus said, “For assuredly, I say unto you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, HE WILL HAVE WHATEVER HE SAYS.” Here we learn a very important truth. Just because God has said or promised something doesn’t mean that it will automatically be so for you. We only have what WE SAY. We do not automatically have what God says.
Did you know that you can actually talk your way into the blessings of God? That is exactly how you get them! How did you receive salvation? Romans 10:10 declares, “For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the MOUTH CONFESSION is made UNTO SALVATION.” You spoke your way into salvation!
All the promises and blessings of God are received the same way – by speaking! The same way that you receive salvation is the same way that you receive physical healing. You can actually talk your way into divine health and healing!
So, what have you been declaring about your physical body? Have you been talking the problem or have you been confessing the answer? Have you been declaring, “By His stripes I am healed!” or have you been talking about how bad it is?
Remember, Jesus said that you will have whatever YOU say. You should pay very close attention to the words that come out of your mouth. Every day you should declare healing over yourself and your family members. God’s Word declares that whatever you decree, it will be established for you.
Confession: I confess that Jesus is my Healer and that physical healing belongs to me.
