Day 65: Nothing Is Too Hard For God

Day 65: Nothing Is Too Hard For God
March 7, 2015 Joel Grantham

“In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death, and prayed to the Lord; and He spoke to him and gave him a sign (wrought a miracle for him).”  2 Chronicles 32:24

Maybe you find yourself in the same situation as King Hezekiah, sick and near death.  Perhaps the doctors have given up hope and pronounced a death sentence over you.  Maybe your situation seems impossible!  It is at times like this that you must remember what Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, “With men this is impossible, but with God ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!”

2 Kings Chapter 20 goes into greater detail about Hezekiah’s illness and the miracle that he received.  In response to his prayers, the Lord sent the prophet Isaiah to Hezekiah to tell him that God was going to add 15 more years to his life.  Isaiah said that God would give him a sign so that he would know that it was the Lord who was speaking to him.  The sign was to be that the shadow would go backwards 10 degrees during the middle of the day.  This of course would violate all the laws of nature because the shadow always moves forward.

Once again God proves that NOTHING is too hard for Him!  We truly serve a mighty God!  If He can change the laws that govern the rotation of the earth and sun, then He can certainly remove the sickness or disease that is affecting your body!

Today, I want to remind you that nothing is too big for your God.  It doesn’t matter what the doctors have told you, or even how your body even feels right now.  The question is- Who are you going to believe?  Are you going to believe what God has said and promised about your physical healing in His written Word, or are you going to give in to fear and doubt?  Stop looking at your current circumstances and choose to believe God’s eternal Word!  He is more than able to perform what He has promised!

Confession:  Nothing is too hard for my God!  God’s Word never fails.  His healing promises are sure!
