Day 45: Say It, See It, Do It

Day 45: Say It, See It, Do It
February 13, 2015 Joel Grantham

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”  Joshua 1:8

You, not God, determines if your way is prosperous and if you have good success or not.  For God told Joshua, “For then YOU will make YOUR WAY prosperous, and then you will have good success.”  God has already made up His mind about your success, healing and prosperity!  Now, He is waiting on you to make up your mind.

The amount of time and attention that you give to the Word of God will determine whether you live a healthy and prosperous life or not.  The greatest habit that you could ever form is the habit of meditating on the Scriptures.  Meditation is the key to revelation.  And revelation is the key to victory.

The moment you start obeying the Word of God by putting it in to practice in your daily life, everything in your life will begin to change.  The Word of God will change your relationships, your finances and even your physical body!  It will literally heal you!  (Proverbs 4:20-22.)

But before you can obey God’s Word, you must first have a revelation from God’s Word.  Revelation knowledge does not occur in your mind.  It occurs when your spirit man “sees” a truth in the Scriptures.  Remember, God told Joshua, “That you may OBSERVE to do according to all that is written in it.”  You cannot do it until you observe it or until you see it!

The quickest way to revelation knowledge is by meditating on the Word of God.  To meditate means to ponder over and over again.  True Biblical mediation occurs not only with your mind, but also with your mouth.  God told Joshua, “And this book of the law shall not depart from your MOUTH, but you shall MEDITATE in it day and night.”

The Hebrew word for “meditate” means to ponder by speaking to one’s self.  It means to converse with oneself out loud.  True meditation is like when a cow chews the cud over and over again.  God commanded Joshua to keep His Word in His MOUTH, not just in His mind!

I suggest that you find several of your favorite healing promises in God’s Word and speak them out loud continually throughout the day.  God’s Word will begin to work in your body like medicine, but it must be taken orally.  After you say it (confession), you will begin to see it (revelation), and then you will begin to do it so that success and healing will be yours!

Confession:  God’s Word works for me.  His Word is in my heart and in my mouth.  The Word of God is health to all my flesh.
