Day 130:  The Outstretched Arm Of The Lord

“Ah, Lord God!  Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm.  There is nothing too hard for You.  ‘Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh.  Is there anything too hard for Me?’”   Jeremiah 32:17,27

Your problem is not too big for God!  No matter what the doctors have said, or how you may feel, there is no sickness that God cannot heal!

God created the heavens and the earth by His awesome power!  Everywhere you look you can see God’s handiwork.  Just the magnitude of the Milky Way galaxy itself is almost beyond our comprehension.  It’s impossible to grasp the size and wonders of the entire universe!  All of this was created by God’s power.

You may find it interesting to know that every time the scripture references the arm of the Lord, (Isaiah 53:1) the hand of the Lord, (Deuteronomy 26:8) or the right hand of God, ( Exodus 15:6) that it speaks of God’s power.

The Prophet Jeremiah tells us that God released His power to create the heavens and the earth when He stretched out His arm.  When the Bible talks about God stretching forth His hand or His outstretched arm, it is referencing God’s willingness to use and display His unlimited power.  You will be glad to know that God is still willing to stretch out His mighty hand of power and heal your body today!

In Acts 4:30 the early church re-gathered together in the upper room for the purpose of asking God to display His mighty power through miracles, signs and wonders.  They prayed, “By STRETCHING OUT YOUR HAND TO HEAL, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”  In Acts 4:32 we find out that God granted their request because it says, “And WITH GREAT POWER the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.”

Here we can clearly see that God was willing to stretch out His arm of power, the same arm that created the universe, and heal the sick.  God is not a respecter of persons.  If He was willing to do it for them, then He is willing to do it for you!

Confession:  Nothing is too hard for my God.  God is willing to use His mighty power on my behalf!
